I originally gave this course as one long 1.5 hour class at the An Dubhaigheiann Spring Schola in 2021, and it was well received. Unfortunately, the recording of the Zoom call was incomplete, and I kept not finding the time to do a clean/new recording.
The class covers the “nuts and bolts” of the timeline, how to get involved, budgeting, developing the menu, and the logistics of executing the plan on the day of the event.
Dayboard and Feast for St. Andrews Travels North: First Stop Siena – November 2018 is the example I used for this class – Based on the “Opera of Bartolomeo Scappi”.
Fast forward to the Baronial Spring Schola in 2022, and I broke the class up into 3 parts, each about 25 minutes, with time for questions at the end of each section and we got good recordings of each section. I’ve only minimally edited the recordings (trimming beginning and end).
Here’s the link to the recordings of all 3 parts of my “Soup to Nuts: Planning and Executing an SCA Feast” class that I presented at the annual An Dubhaigheiann Schola on March 12, 2022: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRoBgZ-N2kV-jce3jE77WhuwOQV4EUaPP
